Bank of South Pacific Tonga Limited celebrated seven years of service to the Kingdom of Tonga on Sunday 10July 2022. BSP Management, along with Local Manager Elizabeth Sullivan and staff, marked the momentous occasion with morning prayer on Monday morning at the BSP main branch – headed by seasoned member of staff, Rocky Tokotaha – who himself is celebrating 33 years (through Bank of Tonga and Westpac) in the banking industry. A short presentation was made by Elizabeth Sullivan to recognize staff completing 5 and 10 years of service.

To mark the Bank’s anniversary in the community, BSP Tonga today presented the Tonga Red Cross Society with a donation of $10,000 and other goods, to support ongoing charities. A separate donation of $2,500 was made to community leaders in Mango to support resettlement in ‘Eua. This was in addition to the $50,000 donation given to the Tonga government earlier in the year to support post-tsunami reconstruction.
